11 months

This is a little late (hey, what's new?), but Luke turned 11 months old on the 10th! Less than a month and he'll be a year old. Where has the time gone?

I seriously love the age that Luke is at right now. He is so much fun and so sweet. 

Though being a parent can be so hard at times, I have never experienced such great joy before! 

I mean, c'monnnn... just look at him...

 One of my best friends in my ward took these Christmas pictures of Luke. I love them so much. I told her that I keep picturing myself, years from now when Luke is all grown up, showing these pictures to his future wife so she can see what a cute baby he was. I cherish every picture I have of him. 

11 Month STATS:

Weight: About 21 pounds or so

Height: Not sure until his 1 year well-child check up

Likes: Playing with everything in the kitchen (tupperware, spatulas, etc.), 

pushing things around while he walks (dining room chair, a little play table he has, etc.), 

finally will stop and watch TV for a minute or two, 

playing the "I'm gonna get you!" game! (you know the one... where you chase them around saying "I'm gonna get you!" and try to tickle them), 

cruising along the furniture,
trying to pull all the ornaments off of the Christmas tree, 

eating blueberries or chunks or cheese, 

and he still absolutely adores his buddy Rocky. :)

Dislikes: Green beans. This kid will eat ANYTHING...except for green beans, apparently.

New Tricks: One of his top teeth FINALLY broke through! And his other top tooth is close. He still only has three teeth so far. :) 

He is still not the biggest fan of getting his diaper or clothes changed, but he is so much better and will actually sit still long enough for me to change him. 

He waves hello and goodbye all the time and can shake his head when you say "oh no" or "uh oh".

Says "kaaaaa" all the time. I think he is trying to say Rocky, but most likely not. 

He is also starting to sleep better. When the time comes that he consistently starts sleeping through the night, I think I might throw a huge party to celebrate! ;)
