I came across this cute blog the other day. Once I saw the Cinnamon Chip Oatmeal Cookie recipe, I knew I had to try it. The only problem? I could not find Cinnamon Chips anywhere (or at least at the two stores I looked at....)! So I adapted the recipe a bit; took out the raisins and used butterscotch chips instead of cinnamon chips. I thought they turned out pretty tasty. =] I'm not very picky though. Pretty much anything with delicious ingredients like butter and sugar, you can guarantee I will probably like it!
Tommy said they were "good", but he's not a fan of butterscotch, so I know he didn't really like them that much.
My friend Heather and her mom came over to watch The Bachelor with me last night and she thought they were great....so THERE Tommy (*sticks tongue out*)! Haha just kidding....you can't win 'em all. She even took one home to have in her lunch for today. =]
Here's how mine turned out:
I'm still on the prowl for those cinnamon chips, though! If you happen to come across them at the store, pretty please let me know? As soon as I can find them, I am making these cookies the right way! I can't wait, yummm!

XOXO-

JACKIE!! I have a few bags of cinnamon chips that I bought a whole ago and have had in my freezer for...um...2 years. You can TOTALLY have them!
I made those same cookies when I was pregnant w/ Clayton. They smelled divine and I couldn't stop eating them. I never tried them again because for some reason my body didn't like the chips. Only the chips. It was very strange. :) Anyway--let me know if you want them!
I'm pretty sure I've gotten them at Winco before.
Thanks for the SHOUT OUT :) Those cinnamon chips are really the best, I'm not a butterscotch fan either, so they are perfect. I found mine at Albertsons. I always grab two or three bags (just in case).
Be Sassy Classy
I've seen recipes with those chips before too and always wanted to try them. Looks delicious!
