The Holidays

Here is my obligatory Christmas post. I know you are all dying to know what exciting things I did over the holidays (right?), but I suppose this post is mostly written for relatives.

I worked on Christmas Eve...and Christmas Day....and New Year's Eve (which is also Tommy's birthday...the big 2-5!)...and New Year's Day, but I did manage to squeeze as much holiday fun and family time in as possible!

We spent Christmas Eve over at Tommy's mom's house (after I got off work) and my mom came over too....we got to open all of our presents from Laurinda (the MIL) that night. I made out like a bandit! She got me boots from Nordstrom, a beautiful purple scarf, and tickets to the Harry Potter Exhibit in Seattle! She also stocked my stuffing full of lots of fun stuff. =]

My dad was able to make it over to our place all the way from Montana on Christmas day! My mom came over that night and we all spent time together (the hubs was there too, of course) after I got home from work and played games! It was actually really fun and relaxing. =] Then Sunday was the big day! My mom, MIL, sister and her family (hubs and three kids + 2 dogs), and my dad all came over for presents and dinner at our house! It was fun. =]

Here's some pictures of the day. Rocky was so busy playing with his "cousins" (my sisters two dogs) all day and finally tuckered out and fell asleep at the end of the day. Boy, that puppy has a lot of energy! Let me tell ya!

New Year's Eve/Tommy's birthday was spent partying the night away! And by partying the night away, I mean staying home and watching a movie with our friend and barely making it to midnight without falling alseep. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Some of the best moment in my life so far have been spent at home in the arms of my loving husband. =]

Hope you all had a great holiday season this year! Bring it on 2011!!

XOXO-

Those boys are so cute! So is Rocky! Looks like your holidays were a blast. Family time rules!

My New Year's was just as laid-back as yours, although mine was spent on my own, in my room, watching Disney Channel's annual New Year's countdown. It's kind of a tradition of mine no matter how old I get. :)
